About This Dog

Saffie's ideal home

Saffie is a 1 year old Boxer X who has lived a sheltered life so far and is looking for patient and understanding adopters who can help support her with her ongoing training to build confidence with the world and learn some important life skills. She is a friendly girl but due to her nervous nature and training required we feel a home where any children are of older Secondary School age and above is most appopriate. She will need to be the only pet in the home but has potential to have doggy friends once settled if introductions are carefully managed. Saffie is still building confidence with the outside world and learning to walk on a lead and wear a harness so will need her own secure garden so she has as safe space to play in and explore until she feels comfortable enough to be exercised outside of the home. She is not used to being left and finds this worrying so will need someone at home with her all of the time initially and any leaving hours will need to be built up slowly once settled.

Could you be Saffie's perfect match?

Sweet Saffie is a lovely girl who loves a cuddle and enjoys a tasty treat. She would like her new home to be in a relatively quiet area and would love a family that can spend time with her building her skills and helping her become the wonderful companion we know she can be.
