About This Dog for Adoption

Mia's ideal home

Sweet and gentle girl Mia is a 6 year old Boxer cross who loves to prove how clever she is by showing off her cool tricks. Playtime is the best, she will jump and chase around after them, sometimes taking time out to de-fluff a teddy or two. She is a snuggly lady, keen to say hello and get fusses from everyone she meets. This pawsome pooch is on the hunt for her new family.

Could you be Mia's perfect match?

Mia is looking for a calm home with loving adopters who can take her on gentle, sniffy strolls, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She is a friendly bean who can live with primary school children who are confident with larger dogs, who can play with her nicely and will give her space to rest when needed. Mia could live with another calm dog who will happily co-exist with her and engage in occasional play, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre, living with another dog is not a necessity, she would love to have polite and friendly walking buddies. Mia has some training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit”, “paw” and “down”, she is a clever girl and is eager to engage in training if a tasty treat is on offer. She is looking for a home with a private, secure garden for her to potter about and explore in, but this is not a necessity. Mia can settle nicely in the home so could be left for up to 2-4 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Mia will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
