Belle's ideal home

Belle is looking for a home with loving adopters who can take her on exploring, sniffy adventures and give her all the care and attention she deserves. She can live with children aged 12 years and over who can play with her nicely and can give her space to relax and rest when needed. Belle would like a home with no other pets so she can relax and enjoy her adopters attention all to herself, she would be happy with polite and friendly walking buddies when out and about. Belle has a little training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit”, she is a clever girl and could learn new things in short, sweet sessions especially if a tasty treat is on offer. She will need a refresher on her house training so a private, secure garden is needed. Belle gets a little worried being left, she could be left alone for up to a hour, this would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home and routine and would ideally be after a walk so she can relax and have a snooze! Belle will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Boxer Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Boxer.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Boxer Owners website
Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images
