Marbles's ideal home

Marbles is looking for a home with minimal visitors and a family of 2-3 people. He is looking for adopters who are home most of the time, and will give him all the love and care he deserves. He can live with children aged 16 years and over who can read when he is uncomfortable and give him space when he needs it. Marbles can be uncomfortable around other dogs, so is looking to be the only pet in the home, although he would benefit from calm and polite walking buddies to help him build confidence around other dogs. Marbles doesn’t have a lot of training but is happy to focus and learn for a tasty treat, he will need housetraining so a private, secure garden is essential. Marbles is very worried being left alone, so is looking for an adopter who is home the majority of the time and can keep him company and make him feel safe, with the potential to build up leaving after he has settled in. Marbles is taking long-term medication, so adopters must take this into consideration when applying. Marbles will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 – 10 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Sweet lad Marbles is an 11 year old crossbreed, who is looking for a comfy sofa to snuggle up on. He loves toys, especially bouncy balls, and will chase them around and pounce on them and bop them. He is quite inquisitive and likes to explore new places, sniffing as he goes. Marbles takes a little time to warm to new people, but once he does he loves a fuss and will lean in for more.
