About This Dog for Adoption

Nova's ideal home

Nova is a gorgeous smushy girl who is going to make a very rewarding dog for a loving and understanding family. She is a 3 year old Staffie x Boxer who loves people, squeaky toys, and playing in puddles! She has been quite a nervous girl whilst in our care so she is looking for a patient family who can help gradually build her confidence up in the big old world! Nova doesn't enjoy the company of other dogs, so would like to be the only dog in the home and should be kept on a lead and muzzle whilst walking in public. She is looking to have direct access into her own private and fully secure garden, to have a safe space of her own to zoom around in.

Could you be Nova's perfect match?

Nova is fully house-trained, and enjoys travelling in the car. Ideally she'd have access to quieter areas to go for her walks, so she isn't overwhelmed. Due to how worried she can be, Nova would benefit from having safe spaces in the home. She will require multiple meets at the centre to build up a relationship with her new family prior to going home. Nova is as cute as a button and would love to find someone who is at home for most of the day, and able to build up any time that she is left alone up gradually. Animal Welfare licence number is AWE02, as licenced by Glasgow City Council.
